I hope everyone had a phenomenal time ringing in the new year with family and friends.
I've never been a fan of New Years Resolutions, however this year I decided to switch things up. I figured if I posted my resolutions on my blog it would help me keep them so let's see if this works!
1. Stop Saying No and Start Saying Yes.
Stepping outside of my comfort zone is not the easiest thing for me to do. Honestly, i'm tired of staying on the safe side and watching life pass me by. I mean what's the point of living if you're not really living? Vanessa! Stop trying to control everything that's happening, Life isn't meant to be planned out. turn on auto cruise and enjoy the ride. This year I vow to yes to every opportunity that comes my way.
2 Stop Caring What Others Think.
I have a really bad habit of caring about what others think of me. I mean who doesn't? However, this year I want to live for me and only me.
3. Travel.
The only thing going away for college has taught me besides how expensive a load of laundry can be is that I have a serious case of wanderlust. I think the best way to discover is by going to places you've never been before. In 2014 I want attend music festivals, try new foods, see new landscapes all over the world.
4. Embrace Change.
I hate change, but after 2013 I realized that sometimes maybe change is good. So this year, I'm embracing change. BRING ON THE CHANGE.
5. Blog.
I actually like blogging, and I would love to do it more often. So for 2014 I commit to blogging more often and keeping up to date with my resolutions and how they pan out throughout the year.
There's 365 pages of a new chapter just waiting to be painted with laughs, tears, and life.
2014; let's see what trouble we can stir up and what memories will be made.
